The bed was super comfy and I really liked having two TVs in the room, which made relaxing much easier. I also enjoyed unwinding by the outdoor seating area and the lovely garden after a long day. The only bummer was that I had to search for a working remote, but it didn't spoil my stay at all. 😊

We appreciated the friendly staff and the pet-friendly atmosphere during our two-night stay. It was just a short walk to both City Square Fountain and Limelight Sports Grill & Bar, making our weekend strolls even better.

Not so great for families

We booked a night here and things went downhill fast. The suite looked okay at first, but there was a funky smell from the furniture and candy wrappers all over. Plus, someone broke into our room, and the staff didn’t seem to care. Not what we expected for the price. Breakfast was decent though.

The room offered decent space, but the cleanliness was a major issue.

Unfortunately, the outdoor pool was falsely advertised as open and was a disappointment for anyone expecting a swim. There was no breakfast available, which seemed misleading since the lobby opened late at 8 AM. The room maintenance left much to be desired, lingering bad smells, dust accumulation, and unclean surfaces contributed to a less-than-pleasant stay. The kitchen appliances showed their age, with the stove working slowly and a fridge that was not cleaned properly. While I was there with three people, the insufficient towels and paper supplies felt inadequate. The ceiling fan was broken, and getting a simple request for extra blankets turned into a hassle.

I enjoyed the cozy furniture and the peaceful atmosphere during my 3-night stay. The excellent internet really impressed me, and I loved how welcoming it felt, perfect for my family time!

The room had great air conditioning, a comfy sofa bed, and a clean kitchenette with a microwave and refrigerator. The shower was nice, and there were two flat-screen TVs for entertainment. Fresh linens were provided upon request. The breakfast included scrambled eggs and waffles. Parking was convenient, and the ice machine was on the floor.

My recent stay was quite disappointing, primarily due to the poor cleanliness of the room. We found used toiletries and trash left over from previous guests, which made for an uncomfortable experience. The staff, however, was apologetic and accommodating, which was appreciated. The amenities like the location near restaurants and stores were helpful too, but the lack of proper upkeep detracted from the overall visit.

For dads, it would be great if there were more activities for kids on site. The game room could use some fun options to keep them entertained.

i loved my stay at affordable suites of america detroit-warren! the staff was amazing and always ready to help out. the location is convenient for visiting downtown detroit and nearby shopping areas. my one-bedroom suite was spacious and cozy, perfect for a couple's retreat. plus, the nearby outdoor swimming pool was a nice bonus.

It was just an ideal choice for a short stint in Warren with very good value for money. The bed and pillows were nice and comfortable, which helped me rest after a long day. If you need good internet, better find a different place.
